The International Society for Limb Salvage (ISOLS) was established in Rochester, Minnesota, USA, in 1981. This organization is comprised of scientists and physicians from around the world. It is truly multidisciplinary and diverse in its representation and efforts. These include research, education and the critical evaluation of our patients’ outcomes.
The purpose of the ISOLS is to promote research, education and clinical practice related to musculoskeletal tumors and its foremost purpose is to improve patient care related to limb salvage interventions.
